Festive roast nuts.

Fill the kitchen with warm festive smells by preparing these nuts and have them available anytime you wish for a snack or pre drinks. They are great and extremely handy to keep and have to pass around once your guests turn up.

  • 300g raw mixed nuts
  • 1tbsp onion flakes
  • 1tbsp paprika
  • A handful of fresh thyme
  • 1tbsp honey
  • Some olive oil
  • 1tbsp cinnamon
  • Seasoning.
  • Step 1 Get a large flat roasting dish, pour some olive oil and add the nuts. Sprinkle the dried spices over the nuts, add the fresh thyme and seasoning and the honey and mix the nuts with your hands into all the ingredients. Once coated, bake for 15 minutes at 160C.
  • Step 2 Remove from the oven and set aside to cool. You can store the nuts in an airtight container.
