We will be seeing pretty much of these vegetables in the next coming few weeks so I decided to try a different way of cooking these vegetables and I pan fried them and was pretty pleased with the outcome. To make this dish you will need,
Pan fried brussel sprouts
- 300g brussel sprouts
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 80g cranberries
- Coconut oil
- Step 1 Add the garlic cloves to your coconut oil in a pan and cook. Rinse and slice the brussel sprouts in half and add to the pan. Add the paprika and toss the sprouts, lower the heat and let them cook. Keep stirring them until they have cooked, you can also add some parchment paper so they steam and cook faster.
- Step 2 Add the cranberries and mix all together. Serve as a side dish.
- Step 3 I served these with the stuffed chicken breast and served 4 servings with the above quantities.
