Honey and Zest will be taking a break from experimenting with food in the kitchen and writing recipes for the next week and a half, as I will be walking the start of the famous Camino De Santiago. Known as the The way of Saint James among other names, this famous walk starts in St Jean Pied de Port in France and is mainly walked or cycled. “Many follow its routes as a form of spiritual path or retreat for their spiritual growth. ”
I look forward to the stillness of this walk and absorbing all the beauty that nature offers us. I will be joining a great bunch of friends and hope to bring back loads of happy memories and shots of beautiful scenery. I also look forward to creating recipes for the autumn season on my walk and hopefully learn about the cuisine on this trip to be able to share with you once I am back.
