I have been reading on the importance of bananas and how they should play an important part in our diet, they are a perfect natural sweetener and should be included in our breakfasts as they are available all year round. These marvellous fruits are full of vitamins and minerals especially magnesium and iron.

Bananas are low in fat which makes them one of the best, most nourishing and energising foods, they freeze well and when they have light brown speckles on their skins it is a sign that they have ripened naturally.  A wise idea to include them in your meals.
