Savoury finger food to get your party started. These are bite size and look very pretty. With the quantities below, I made around 20 canapés.
Tomato & Feta Canapés
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 1 packet feta cheese
- A handful of fresh basil
- 1 tbsp. dried oregano
- 1 packet puff pastry
- A dash of olive oil
- Step 1 Roll out the pastry and get a pastry cutter that is approximately 5 cm wide. Use the cutter to cut circles out of the rolled out pastry.
- Step 2 Bake them in a hot oven and remove when they are a nice brown colour and have puffed up nicely.
- Step 3 Wash the tomatoes and basil and add them to your blender together with the feta cheese, oregano and oil. Just pulse the mixture, as you want your ingredients to be in pieces and not a purée.
- Step 4 When the pastry circles cool slice open in the middle and fill them. Place them on a plate and serve.
